Ritte to visit with East Maui voters
House District 13 candidate Walter Ritte will be meeting with voters in Paia, Haiku and East Maui on Saturday and Sunday, according to an announcement.
The event will start with sign-waving at Baldwin Beach Park from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a lunchtime talk story with Aunty Francine “Mopsy” Aarona that will be livestreamed on Facebook.
After lunch, a truck rally will be held at Paia Bay at 2 p.m.
On Sunday, Ritte will drive through Keanae, Nahiku and Hana town to talk story.
Voters are invited to meet Ritte and get seeds and starters for their gardens, as well as fresh organic produce and Ritte car magnets.
Ritte is running against Rep. Lynn DeCoite to represent East Maui, Molokai and Lanai.
