United Airlines announced the addition of two nonstop routes to Hawaii on Wednesday, including Newark, N.J., to Kahului.
The other nonstop addition to the 50th state is Chicago to Kona.
Both routes are scheduled to start next summer.
The 4,903-mile flight from Newark to Kahului will augment United's existing nonstop service between Newark and Honolulu.
The new route will utilize a Boeing 767-300ER and operate four times weekly. Schedules of each new route to the state have not been announced.
