Nearly 400 COVID-19 tests were administered to Lanai residents Saturday during a six-hour mass testing on the island where 99 cases have been reported in the past two weeks.
More than 3,000 tests have been administered since the beginning of the outbreak, according to a Maui County news release.
"I thank the Lanai residents, who're protecting themselves and their community by getting tested for this virus," Mayor Michael Victorino said in the news release. "We need to know where the virus has spread to conduct contact tracing and quarantine people who may have contracted the illness."
