A 52-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at Kaanapali Beach last week was identified as Tiffany Thomas of Lahaina.

Bystanders were performing CPR on the woman when Lahaina firefighters responded to a 12:48 p.m. call Jan. 12, according to the Maui Fire Department. She had been found floating about 10 feet from shore, the Fire Department reported.

Police provided information about her identity Thursday and said autopsy results are pending.
