Two more MCCC inmates test positive

Two more Maui Community Correctional Center inmates have tested positive for COVID-19, raising the number of active cases to 26, the Department of Public Safety reported Tuesday.

The two positive cases were among 24 inmate test results reported, with the other 22 turning out negative, according to the department. Five inmates have recovered after testing positive for COVID-19, the department said.

Thirty-two inmates were in medical isolation and 18 were in quarantine.
