Six people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon at Pulehu and Hansen roads in Kahului, police said.
The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. when a 16-year-old girl driving a silver sport utility vehicle traveling south on Pulehu Road failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Hansen Road, police said.
That caused a white sport utility vehicle, which was traveling west on Hansen Road, to collide with front of the silver sport utility vehicle, police said.
Both vehicles sustained damages estimated at more than $3,000.
All occupants, including a 57-year-old man driving the white sport utility vehicle and his three passengers, were transported to Maui Memorial Medical Center for treatment, police said.
