Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Thursday reported 166 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 91 on Oahu, 22 on Maui, 17 on Hawaii island, 14 on Kauai and 22 residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 38,819 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 28,496 on Oahu, 4,980 in Maui County (4,785 on Maui, 115 on Lanai and 80 on Molokai), 3,398 on Hawaii island and 444 on Kauai. A total of 1,501 residents have been diagnosed out of state.

• One new death was reported Thursday, a man in his 80s from Hawaii island who had been hospitalized with underlying conditions. The statewide fatality count is now at 522, including 404 on Oahu, 57 on Maui, 56 on Hawaii island, two on Kauai and three residents who died out of state.

• As of Thursday, 61 percent of all residents in Honolulu County had completed their vaccination process, followed by 59 percent in Kauai County, 55 percent in Hawaii County and 53 percent in Maui County.
