Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Friday reported 147 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 93 on Oahu, 27 on Hawaii island, nine on Kauai, seven on Maui, one on Molokai and 10 residents diagnosed out of state.
• There have now been 38,966 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 28,589 on Oahu, 4,988 in Maui County (4,792 on Maui, 115 on Lanai and 81 on Molokai), 3,425 on Hawaii island and 453 on Kauai. A total of 1,511 residents have been diagnosed out of state.
• One new death was reported Friday, an Oahu man in his 40s who was hospitalized and had underlying conditions. The statewide fatality count is now 523, including 405 on Oahu, 57 on Maui, 56 on Hawaii island, two on Kauai and three residents who died out of state.
• As of Friday, 61 percent of all residents in Honolulu County had completed their vaccination process, followed by 59 percent in Kauai County, 55 percent in Hawaii County and 53 percent in Maui County.
