Flying is part of job at Makawao Stampede

Oahu rodeo clown Guy Lil' Guy Yoshimura is sent flying by a bull during the 4th of July Makawao Stampede on Sunday afternoon at Oskie Rice Arena in Olinda. Yoshimura was caught unaware well after a bull rider's attempt, while paniolo were trying to clear the bull from the arena. He said it as all part of the job. "I've got hooked lots of times," he said. "I almost bit my tongue off once." The three-day rodeo concluded with Sale Sprout winning All-Around Cowboy honors and Lehiwa Apo winning All-Around Cowgirl. See Sports for more rodeo coverage.
