Church to mark feast, offer pet blessings

Trinity Episcopal Church by the Sea will honor the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi at 9 a.m. Sunday.

The Rev. John Tomoso will celebrate Holy Eucharist and offer pet blessings, according to an announcement. Live animals should be leashed or caged and treat bags and water will be provided. Photographs of pets unable to come to church will also be blessed, and children are also welcome to bring their favorite stuffed animal friend.

The church is located at 100 Kulanihakoi St. in Kihei, and the service will take place in the outdoor sanctuary. Mask and distancing protocol will also be observed.
