Fresh pomelo fruit

Nellie Barbado rides her three-wheeled bicycle while looking for customers to buy fresh pomelo fruits Thursday afternoon in Kahului. Barbado said the pomelos were grown by her neighbor, who she helps by picking and selling the fruits. Her trike runs on pedal power, but she would like to return to the days when it had an engine. "We had a motor before, now it is me driving," she said. "I want the motor back." She described the pomelos as "sweet."
