A Maui Police Department employee working out of the Wailuku District is isolating at home after testing positive for COVID-19, police said Monday.
The employee last worked Monday, when police received confirmation of the positive test.
Police said common areas of the Wailuku Police Station were professionally disinfected and sanitized Monday.
The employee will remain in isolation until cleared by the Department of Health, police said.
