With only home team parents allowed inside War Memorial Stadium Saturday evening, family members of Kamehameha Maui freshman varsity football player Imaikalani Kramer watch a livestream of the game against Maui High in the parking lot. As the Maui Interscholastic League returns from a stoppage of all sports due to the pandemic, officials first called for no fans in the stands this season, but later announced that home team parents could be admitted. Earlier this week, the MIL said it would allow each student-athlete from both the home and visiting team to have four COVID-vaccinated guests at athletic events.
