Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Wednesday reported 1,561 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 1,322 cases on Oahu, 134 on Maui, 58 on Kauai, 26 on Hawaii island, 12 on Molokai, two on Lanai and seven Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.
• There have now been 106,158 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 74,890 on Oahu, 12,619 in Hawaii County, 11,721 in Maui County (11,232 on Maui, 330 on Molokai and 159 on Lanai) and 3,695 on Kauai. A total of 3,233 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.
• Three new deaths were reported Wednesday; the statewide fatality count is now 1,085.
• Honolulu County is averaging 1,269 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 15.3 percent, followed by Maui County at 103 cases and 9.6 percent, Hawaii County at 71 cases and 8.5 percent and Kauai County at 43 cases and 7.5 percent.
• Hawaii has reached a 74.1 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 77 percent, Kauai County at 71 percent, Maui County at 67 percent and Hawaii County at 66 percent.
