Drive-thru COVID-19 testing will be offered at Mauliola Pharmacy from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Friday and Sunday, Mayor Michael Victorino announced.
No appointment or pre-registration is needed.
The pharmacy is located at the Cameron Center at 95 Mahalani St. in Wailuku.
As Hawaii battles a spike in COVID-19 cases statewide, state and county officials have been urging residents to get tested if they have flu-like symptoms, have been exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus or have traveled off island recently.
Free in-person testing is also available through a partnership between Maui County and Minit Medical Urgent Care. Test sites and days are:
• West Maui: Lahaina Civic Center, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Saturday. The site is closed on New Year's Day but will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
• South Maui: 1280 S. Kihei Road (behind Ace Hardware), 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
• Central Maui: 348 Lehuakona St., Kahului (behind Maui Marketplace), 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.
• Upcountry: Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. New Year's Eve.
