The Maui County Department of Water Supply will close its bill payment window on the fifth floor of the Kalana O Maui Building until further notice due to the ongoing surge of COVID-19 cases.

The county said Monday that it was taking the step out of an abundance of caution to limit community spread of COVID-19 and the highly contagious omicron variant.

During the closure, water bill payments can be made by:

• Placing them in the secured drop box at the front entrance of the county building at 200 S. High St. in Wailuku.

• Calling (855) 385-4836.

• Going online to mauicounty.gov/126/Department-of-Water-Supply and scrolling to the bottom of the page.

To contact the department's Accounting/Fiscal Services Division, call (808) 270-7781.
