Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Thursday reported 4,789 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 3,245 cases on Oahu, 676 cases on Maui, 508 on Hawaii island, 213 on Kauai, 41 on Molokai, 17 on Lanai and 89 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.
• There have now been 130,856 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 93,240 on Oahu, 14,693 in Hawaii County, 14,487 in Maui County (13,782 on Maui, 474 on Molokai and 231 on Lanai) and 4,665 on Kauai. A total of 3,771 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.
• Four new deaths were reported Thursday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,098.
• Honolulu County is averaging 2,160 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 20.5 percent, followed by Maui County at 310 cases and 17.8 percent, Hawaii County at 248 cases and 17.4 percent and Kauai County at 118 cases and 13.2 percent.
• Hawaii has reached a 74.6 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 78 percent, Kauai County at 72 percent, and Maui and Hawaii counties at 67 percent.
