Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Sunday reported 4,578 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 3,212 cases on Oahu, 679 cases on Maui, 364 on Hawaii island, 226 on Kauai, 20 on Molokai, eight on Lanai and 69 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.
• There have now been 143,224 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 101,813 on Oahu, 15,604 in Hawaii County, 16,385 in Maui County (15,604 on Maui, 526 on Molokai and 255 on Lanai) and 5,313 on Kauai. A total of 3,962 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.
• One new death was reported on Saturday and three on Sunday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,105.
• Honolulu County is averaging 2,381 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 22.1 percent, followed by Maui County at 422 cases and 21.6 percent, Hawaii County at 290 cases and 20.2 percent and Kauai County at 163 cases and 16.7 percent.
• Hawaii has reached a 74.7 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 78 percent, Kauai County at 72 percent, Maui County at 68 percent and Hawaii County at 67 percent.
