Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Monday reported 3,875 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 2,761 cases on Oahu, 564 cases on Maui, 348 on Hawaii island, 134 on Kauai, 11 on Molokai, nine on Lanai and 48 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.
• There have now been 147,099 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 104,574 on Oahu, 16,969 in Maui County (16,168 on Maui, 537 on Molokai and 264 on Lanai) and 5,447 on Kauai. A total of 4,010 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.
• No new deaths were reported Monday; the statewide fatality count remains at 1,105.
• Honolulu County is averaging 2,509 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 21.8 percent, followed by Maui County at 462 cases and 22.3 percent, Hawaii County at 304 cases and 20.4 percent and Kauai County at 164 cases and 17 percent.
• Hawaii has reached a 74.8 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 78 percent, Kauai County at 72 percent, Maui County at 68 percent and Hawaii County at 67 percent.
• As of 9 a.m. Monday, 28 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19 at Maui Memorial Medical Center, including 18 unvaccinated and 10 vaccinated. One vaccinated patient and one unvaccinated patient were in the ICU, with one vaccinated patient on a ventilator.
