Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Friday reported 3,099 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 2,564 cases on Oahu, 322 cases on Maui, 97 on Hawaii island, 31 on Kauai, 14 on Molokai, and 71 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 160,031 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 114,192 on Oahu, 18,774 in Maui County (17,881 on Maui, 607 on Molokai and 286 on Lanai), 16,856 in Hawaii County and 6,017 on Kauai. A total of 4,192 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

• Three new deaths were reported Friday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,117.

• Honolulu County is averaging 2,545 new cases a day and a test positivity rate of 20.6 percent, followed by Maui County at 469 cases and 22 percent, Hawaii County at 253 cases and 18.1 percent and Kauai County at 158 cases and 17.9 percent.

• Hawaii has reached a 75.1 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 78 percent, Kauai County at 72 percent, Maui County at 68 percent and Hawaii County at 67 percent.

• As of 9 a.m. Friday, 36 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19 at Maui Memorial Medical Center, including 19 unvaccinated and 17 vaccinated. Three vaccinated patients and two unvaccinated patients were in the ICU, with one vaccinated patient on a ventilator.
