COVID-19 at a Glance

Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Sunday reported 3,167 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 2,078 cases on Oahu, 371 on Hawaii island, 493 on Maui, 168 on Kauai, 11 on Lanai, 10 on Molokai and 36 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 202,273 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 142,766 on Oahu, 24,964 in Maui County (23,691 on Maui, 816 on Molokai and 457 on Lanai), 21,418 in Hawaii County and 8,434 on Kauai. A total of 4,691 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

• Four new deaths were reported Sunday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,146.

• Hawaii has reached a 75.5 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 79 percent, Kauai County at 73 percent, Maui County at 68 percent and Hawaii County at 67 percent.
