Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Sunday reported 2,741 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 1,804 cases on Oahu, 257 on Maui, 217 on Kauai, 394 on Hawaii island, six on Lanai, five on Molokai and 58 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.
• There have now been 217,775 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 152,596 on Oahu, 27,203 in Maui County (25,811 on Maui, 857 on Molokai and 535 on Lanai), 23,307 in Hawaii County and 9,662 on Kauai. A total of 5,007 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.
• Seven new deaths were reported Sunday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,180.
• Hawaii has reached a 74.7 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 78 percent, Kauai County at 70 percent, Maui County at 68 percent and Hawaii County at 66 percent.
