Jail cases at 36 as 3 staff recover
The number of active COVID-19 cases declined to 36 at the Maui Community Correctional Center after three employees recovered, the state Department of Public Safety reported Wednesday.
Thirty-four inmates with active cases were in medical isolation at the Wailuku jail.
The department reported 14 negative inmate test results and 30 negative staff test results Wednesday.
