Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Monday reported 1,513 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 956 cases on Oahu, 193 on Maui, 161 on Kauai, 159 on Hawaii island, seven on Lanai, five on Molokai and 32 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 219,288 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 153,552 on Oahu, 27,408 in Maui County (26,004 on Maui, 862 on Molokai and 542 on Lanai), 23,466 in Hawaii County and 9,823 on Kauai. A total of 5,039 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

• One new death was reported Monday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,181.

• Hawaii has reached a 74.8 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 78 percent, Kauai County at 70 percent, Maui County at 68 percent and Hawaii County at 66 percent.

• As of 9 a.m. Monday, there were 54 people with COVID-19 hospitalized at Maui Memorial Medical Center -- 31 unvaccinated and 23 vaccinated, including six who received their booster shots. There were four in the ICU, all of whom were unvaccinated. No patients were on ventilators.
