Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Thursday reported 1,532 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 953 cases on Oahu, 205 on Hawaii island, 170 on Kauai, 138 on Maui, seven on Molokai, 10 on Lanai and 49 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 223,065 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 156,007 on Oahu, 27,914 in Maui County (26,474 on Maui, 877 on Molokai and 563 on Lanai), 23,885 in Hawaii County and 10,089 on Kauai. A total of 5,170 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

• Three new deaths were reported Thursday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,194.

• Hawaii has reached a 75 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 78 percent, Kauai County at 71 percent, Maui County at 68 percent and Hawaii County at 66 percent.

• As of 9 a.m. Thursday, there were 38 people with COVID-19 hospitalized at Maui Memorial Medical Center -- 22 unvaccinated and 16 vaccinated, including five who received their booster shots. There were two unvaccinated patients in the ICU. There were no patients on a ventilator.
