Latest developments:

• State Department of Health on Wednesday reported 203 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 153 cases on Oahu, 28 on Maui, nine on Kauai, four on Hawaii island and nine Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.

• There have now been 232,505 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 161,589 on Oahu, 29,041 in Maui County (27,511 on Maui, 921 on Molokai and 609 on Lanai), 25,237 in Hawaii County and 11,125 on Kauai. A total of 5,513 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.

• Twelve new deaths were reported Wednesday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,274.

• Hawaii has reached a 75.6 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 79 percent, Kauai County at 71 percent, Maui County at 69 percent and Hawaii County at 67 percent.

• As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, there were 18 people with COVID-19 hospitalized at Maui Memorial Medical Center -- 11 unvaccinated and seven vaccinated, including two who received a booster shot. There were two unvaccinated patients in the ICU. There were no patients on a ventilator.
