J. Walter Cameron Center Executive Director Cesar Gaxiola (right) gives Hawaii U.S. Rep. Kai Kahele a tour of the Wailuku facility Tuesday afternoon. It was Kahele’s first visit to the Cameron Center and he spent several hours familiarizing himself with the center and visiting representatives from its 17 resident agencies. Among the topics discussed was funding to replace an aging air conditioning chiller that is included in the upcoming federal budget. Kahele represents Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District, encompassing the islands including Hawaii, Maui County, Kauai, Niihau and the rural parts of Oahu.
