Two Lahaina museums expand hours to six days a week

After nearly two years at reduced capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Baldwin Home Museum and the Wo Hing Museum and Cookhouse in Lahaina will bring back full availability.
Beginning today, the historic sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. six days a week, the Lahaina Restoration Foundation announced in a news release.
The Wo Hing Museum will be open from Wednesday to Monday, while the Baldwin Home will be open from Tuesday through Sunday during the daytime operation hours and for Candlelit Tours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Fridays.
The seventh day each week will be dedicated to caring for the collections at each museum and for special programming, such as the Lahaina Quest keiki/family programs and Hands-on History volunteer programs.
Tours are $7 for adults; $5 for seniors, military, veterans, and Hawaii residents; and free for children 12 and under and for Lahaina Restoration Foundation members.
All state and county guidelines regarding COVID-19 protocols will be followed. Appropriately worn masks are required inside of the museums.
