Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Monday reported 142 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 65 cases on Oahu, 30 on Kauai, 29 on Hawaii island, 17 on Maui and one Hawaii resident diagnosed out of state.
• There have now been 236,151 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 163,733 on Oahu, 29,475 in Maui County (27,917 on Maui, 934 on Molokai and 624 on Lanai), 25,822 in Hawaii County and 11,428 on Kauai. A total of 5,693 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.
• No new deaths were reported Monday; the statewide fatality count remains at 1,334.
• Hawaii has reached a 76.4 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 80 percent, Kauai County at 71 percent, Maui County at 69 percent and Hawaii County at 67 percent.
• As of 9 a.m. Monday, there were 11 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 at Maui Memorial Medical Center - three unvaccinated and eight vaccinated, with two who received a booster shot. There was one unvaccinated patient in the ICand on a ventilator.
• Beginning today, all county public health emergency rules will be repealed, Mayor Michael Victorino said on Friday.
