Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Thursday reported 314 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 198 cases on Oahu, 42 on Maui, 24 on Hawaii island, 23 on Kauai, three on Molokai, two on Lanai and 22 Hawaii residents diagnosed out of state.
• There have now been 236,749 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 164,088 on Oahu, 29,562 in Maui County (27,999 on Maui, 937 on Molokai and 626 on Lanai), 25,885 in Hawaii County and 11,471 on Kauai. A total of 5,743 Hawaii residents have been diagnosed outside of the state.
• Three new deaths were reported Thursday; the statewide fatality count is now at 1,344.
• Hawaii has reached a 76.5 percent vaccination rate of the total population statewide, with Honolulu County at 80 percent, Kauai County at 72 percent, Maui County at 69 percent and Hawaii County at 68 percent.
• As of 9 a.m. Thursday, there were 11 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 at Maui Memorial Medical Center - four unvaccinated and six vaccinated, with one who received a booster shot, and one patient whose vaccination status is unknown. There were no patients in the ICU and none on a ventilator.
