Latest developments:
• State Department of Health on Tuesday reported 63 new confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 51 on Oahu, six on Hawaii island, five on Maui and one on Kauai.
• There have now been 237,518 confirmed and probable cases statewide, including 164,576 on Oahu, 29,646 in Maui County (28,080 on Maui, 938 on Molokai and 628 on Lanai), 25,974 on Hawaii island and 11,526 on Kauai. A total of 5,796 residents have been diagnosed out of state.
• No new deaths were reported Tuesday; the state fatality count remains at 1,354.
• As of Tuesday, the state had reached a vaccination rate of 76.6 percent, with Honolulu County at 80 percent, Kauai County at 72 percent, Maui County at 70 percent and Hawaii County at 68 percent.
• As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, there were 13 people hospitalized with COVID-19 at Maui Memorial Medical Center - seven unvaccinated and six vaccinated, with one who received a booster shot. There were no patients in the ICU or on a ventilator.
