Free health screenings and immunizations will be available for customers at the Kahului Walmart from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Nine Walmart pharmacies statewide are participating in the quarterly Walmart Wellness Day, which will offer free glucose, cholesterol, body mass index and blood pressure screenings as well as COVID-19 vaccines and affordable immunizations for illnesses like shingles, pneumonia, tetanus, hepatitis, HPV and flu.
The event will also offer wellness resources and the opportunity to talk with pharmacists.
The goal is to encourage customers to get healthy and stay on a healthy track by helping them know their numbers and then seeking care to improve their lifestyles, according to a news release from the company.
