Maui County mayoral candidate Richard Bissen will hold a meet-and-greet event for residents at the Kahului Community Center at 5:30 p.m. today, Bissen's campaign announced.
Bissen plans to speak on his platform of "kama'aina prosperity," which includes kama'aina housing, good-paying kama'aina jobs and the health of the environment, according to a news release.
The event will include live entertainment by musician and composer Arlie Asiu. Chili and rice bowls will be provided by Kwaisin's Noodle Shop while supplies last. Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the event.
A kama'aina prosperity informational booth and a booth for residents to register to vote will be available.

The community center is located at 275 Uhu St.
