Maui Ag Fest returns after two years

After being postponed due to the pandemic the past two years, a good crowd attended the annual event held by the Maui County Farm Bureau. Activities included the Maui Legacy Farmers Pancake breakfast, the Grand Taste, a 4-H auction, local product and food sales, games, entertainment and opportunities to learn about Maui's agriculture and environmental businesses and programs.

SECOND PHOTO: Faith Costa of the Green Valley Clovers 4-H Club presents her hog Milky Way during the Market Hog Event at the Maui AgFest and 4-H Livestock Fair. The seven-month-old Duroc hog weighed in at 255 pounds, a 175-pound gain since Costa started with the animal on March 5.
