Maui County mayoral candidate Richard Bissen will hold a meet-and-greet event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Paia Community Center at 252 Hana Highway.

Bissen will discuss his “kama’aina prosperity” platform and will also be available for questions and answers from residents, according to a news release from Bissen’s campaign.

The free event includes live entertainment, food (while supplies last) and door prizes awarded throughout the evening. Community leaders will also be on hand to explain why they support Bissen. Information about Bissen’s platform as well as a voting registration area will also be available.
