A brown anole, or Bahaman anole, extends its dewlap while making a territorial display in Kihei Tuesday morning. The invasive species native to Cuba and the Bahamas is a relatively new arrival to the Hawaiian islands where there are no native land lizards, snakes, frogs, toads or turtles.
