COVID count stays at 9 at Wailuku jail

The number of COVID-19 cases at the Maui Community Correctional Center remained at nine Tuesday, after one inmate tested positive and another recovered, according to the state Department of Public Safety.

During the week that ended Tuesday, 106 inmates tested negative for COVID, the department reported.

No employee cases were reported at the Wailuku jail.
