Work continues on the makai portion of the Piilani Highway roundabout in Kihei Thursday morning. The roundabout at the intersection with Kulanihakoi Street is located at the entrance to Kulanihakoi High School. When the two-lane traffic circle opens, it will be the first multi-lane roundabout in the state. The roundabout is scheduled to be completed in November, state Department of Transportation officials said last month.
