Affordable workforce housing underway

Site work continues on the Kaiaulu o Kuku'ia affordable apartment project in Lahaina Wednesday morning.

The workforce housing project, which has taken more than 30 years to break ground, is scheduled to feature 200 apartment homes mauka of the Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center and consist of 25 two-story, eightplex buildings.
