A screening of “Ola Ka Honua” will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center as part of the Hawaii International Film Festival Maui Showcase.

“Ola Ka Honua” is an animated short film that was inspired by the Auwahi Forest Restoration Project. The film recently premiered in film festivals in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Portugal and Portland, Ore. It made its local premiere this month at the Hawaii International Film Festival.
