Rotary club to host nonprofit director
Bevanne Bowers of Maui Mediation Services will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Kahului's weekly meeting from 12 to 1 p.m. on Monday.
The meeting will be held in person at the Alexander & Baldwin Properties conference room at Maui Mall Village at 11 Puunene Ave. Attendees are welcome to bring their own brown bag lunch to the meeting. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Bowers is the executive director of Maui Mediation Services, a nonprofit that provides alternative dispute resolution, facilitation and training to Maui County residents. She also serves as a per diem district and family court judge and as an arbitrator for the 2nd Circuit Court Annexed Arbitration Program.

Drama students to perform 'Trinacria'
The Roots School drama class will perform J.J. Minniear's original play, "Trinacria," at 2 p.m. Saturday at the ProArts Playhouse in Kihei.

Letter carriers food drive is May 13
The National Association of Letter Carriers, in conjunction with the National Rural Letter Carriers Association and the U.S. Postal Service, will conduct the 31st annual Letter Carriers Food Drive on May 13.
Maui postal patrons should receive a blue biodegradable bag and an announcement card in their mailboxes before May 13, according to a news release.
To participate, leave nonperishable food donations in or by mailboxes for letter carriers to collect and deliver to Maui Food Bank.
Plant sale to be held May 13
Maui Master Gardeners will host a Mother's Day plant sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 13 on the UH-Maui College Great Lawn.
There will be potted plants, succulents, flower baskets and vegetables grown by the Maui Master Gardeners Class of 2024, interns and certified master gardeners.

St. Anthony Class of 1958 reunion set
The St. Anthony School Class of 1958 will host its 65th reunion June 23-25.
Reunion weekend events include a social and dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. on June 23 at the St. Anthony School cafeteria, the St. Anthony Ho'olaule'a luau from 6 to 10 p.m. on June 24 at Sullivan Field, and Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Church on June 25.

Two Smart Driver Courses offered
AARP will hold two in-person Smart Driver Courses from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on May 13, at Roselani Place in Kahului and Kalama Heights in Kihei.
The course fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers. Payment is by cash or check only.
