Learning Endeavors, a Maui-based nonprofit, will host its annual Champions of Coastal Resilience Be The Change Hybrid Film Festival featuring student-made short films at 5 p.m. on Monday.
The film showcase will be held online and in person at the Learning Endeavors headquarters located at 2679 Wai Wai Pl. in Kihei.
Intermediate and high school students who participated in the Champions of Coastal Resilience Be The Change Program completed a stewardship project and then created a short film about their project. The Champions of Coastal Resilience Be The Change Program is an initiative focused on developing climate stewards that care for coastal communities across the state.
