2nd Circuit Court has new Judge

First photo: Second Circuit Court Judge Michelle Drewyer is sworn into office by Hawaii Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald Tuesday afternoon in Courtroom 4 of Hoapili Hale in Wailuku. Drewyer has practiced law on Maui for more than 30 years. She has served as a per diem judge for the past 18 years, often presiding over cases in Hana, Molokai and Lanai. Joining Recktenwald and Drewyer in the courtroom were 2nd Circuit Chief Judge Peter Cahill, 2nd Circuit Judges Kelsey Kawano and Kirstin Hamman, District Court Judge Blaine Kobayashi and Family Court Judge James Rouse. Gov. Josh Green praised Drewyer during the swearing-in ceremony, saying she was very experienced and well qualified.
