A 74-year-old Kihei woman is competing in the International Martial Arts Council 4 Seasons Series, USA World Championships this week in Las Vegas at The Orleans hotel.
Kalimaya Herrera will be premiering her original "Chi Ribbon Dance."
The dance is a "fusion of the fierce" Filipino martial arts and the "graceful flow of circles" and curves, to blind an attacker, Herrera said.
