Environmental Protection Agency teams worked at Lahaina sites Thursday identifying and removing hazardous materials from the fire rubble. Doug Ferguson, federal on scene coordinator, for the EPA said the most things they are finding that is potentially hazardous are propane cylinders, although a vast majority have been essentially destroyed by fire that no propane remains in them. "But there are also a lot of batteries both in golf carts and vehicles, including some lithium batteries, some power walls that are battery storage systems. Those are all the main hazards that we're finding."
