Serving as a volunteer standard bearer, Maui junior golfer Anica Ancheta has one of the best views of the action on the Kapalua Plantation Course’s 11th hole as World top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler and fellow PGA pros Jordan Spieth and Victor Hovland tee off during the The Sentry PGA golf tournament Friday.

Scheffler shot a nine-under-par 64 to take the second round lead.

Ancheta, who is a Baldwin High School senior, earned her close-up views by matching the pros step-by-step around the hilly 7,596-yard course.

She is one of 450 volunteers who are helping to make the tournament possible this week.
