World top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler approaches the Kapalua Plantation Course's first tee under a sweltering sun Friday morning at The Sentry PGA golf tournament. Scheffler was announced as the PGA Tour Player of the Year Wednesday at Kapalua. He shot a nine-under-par 64 Friday to take the second round lead of the $20 million tourney.
