The Haleakalā Waldorf School chess tournament will be held April 14th, from 12 – 3 p.m. at the Haleakalā Waldorf School, 4160 Lower Kula Rd. in the Christopher Hall. There is a suggested donation of $10 to participate.

Players who wish to participate in the tournament must have an active USCF membership. You can check your status or register as a USCF member by going to the USCF website.

Players can choose to participate in the scholastic tournament or the open tournament. The scholastic tournament is for students only and the open tournament is available to adults and those students who feel better fit to play with the more advanced players.

Players will play a total of five games. The games will be 10 minutes per side and no dictation will be required.
