Cool Cat Café Lahaina youth fundraiser for youth program
The Maui News
Cool Cat Café will be hosted by Citizen Church at their location in Kahana to help fundraise for the Citizen Church Youth program! Citizen Church has opened their doors to Cool Cat Café allowing them to do what they love by giving back and helping the community.
The fundraiser will be held 8 a.m.-3 p.m. this Saturday, May 4th, with carwashes being held 8 a.m.-12 pm., and burgers available from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The goal is to raise funds for a trip to the mainland to attend a camp for students in 6th-12th grades, many of whom have been impacted by the wildfires.
The camp will be in New Mexico and will be full of a variety of activities. More importantly, it presents an opportunity for campers to grow as individuals, heal, and strengthen their bonds.
Cool Cat Café employees miss their west-side family and hope all that come will buy burgers and get a car wash hosted by the youth! Proceeds will go towards funding the trip.
Donations will also be accepted. A big Mahalo to Citizen Church for the opportunity and sharing their space!
Everyone at Cool Cat Café appreciates the opportunity and support and looks forward to seeing you this Saturday in Lahaina at 4275 Hine Way in Kanaha.
