“The Breath of Life” documentary from Maui filmmaker Susan Kucera airing this week on Akakū
Akakū’s new Prime Time programming lineup continues the rest of this week with a world television premiere of the stunning Hawaiian documentary “The Breath of Life” by Maui filmmaker Susan Kucera at 8:30 p.m. every night on Channel 55, Akakū Blue.
Every night at 7 p.m. on Akakū Channels 53, 54 and 55, “The Maui Daily Report” broadcasts Maui Nui News selected from local sources blended with Akakū’s own style of original reporting. The program will continue to be repeated at 10:00 p.m. and midnight on Akakū Blue, Channel 55. On weekends you will be able to watch all the previous week’s TMDR episodes back to back in “The Maui Daily Report’s Week in Review.”
You can also watch Akakū’s newest series, “Mostly Maui,” on Channel 55 every night at 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fast paced, and all original, you are guaranteed to see a Maui place or a Maui face you know.
At 8:30 p.m on, “Akakū Showcase,” our viewers are treated to the best of the best Akakū has to offer every night on Channel 55. This week, Akakū is showcasing the world television premiere of the made in Maui documentary, Breath of Life.
